I iPod

My boyfriend bought me an iPod for christmas and its the best present he could of got me. Because I bus to work I cant cope with the constant nattering of other passengers, especially when its the same conversation 5 days a week, so abit of 'me' time appealled. Saying this I am careful not to be one of those annoying self centred people who have it blaring that loud that you wonder if they actually have ear drums. They must all have the same playlist of the one song that goes 'dum dum dum dum' constantly.

I found it was great for me as one of my boyfriends pet peeves about me, one of my bad habits, is that I channel flick. The television, the radio, cds... Whatever it is I just cant leave it alone. I cant keep the interest for long enough even if its one of my favourite tracks I just have to skip onto the next one because I want to listen to that as well. With the TV I hate the fact that I might be missing out on something even more interesting than what I'm watching now. All that happens is that I end up frustrated that ive missed my programme and wondering why I just ended up watch crap.

The problem that I do have with the iPod is with Apple. Luckily when I got the iPod I got £30 or so on a gift card so i didn't have to worry about the payment. I just click ok and it downloaded. Now that I have to pay for it I've realised just how much of a rip off the prices are. 99p a track for the majority of my songs 79p if im lucky. Doing a comparison on the web I can get 15 songs for £10 using an mp3 download site compared to just 10 on Apple! I must admit though that i do like that all my downloads can be easily accessed in the 'purchased' section of the iPod and that I dont have to spend 10 minutes scrolling through all 2000 songs to find the one 3 minute song that I want to play.
